So I went and got a “real” job - completely dejected and resigned to the fact the people who were actually making a living with massage were probably running clinics or working as an instructor.
(Hint: I was totally wrong.)
Years later, when my family desperately needed income, I decided to try again.
So I re-entered the massage workforce, armed with a bunch of new business skills that I had learned throughout the years at my corporate job and an idea to redefine the way I practiced.

I doubled my client load, quit my other job, and supported my family of four COMPLETELY on my massage therapy income.
The problem wasn’t that I couldn’t build a successful massage therapy business… it was that I didn’t have the business skills to actually DO it.

As a coach and mentor to massage therapists worldwide, I hear from practitioners every week who struggle - just like I did.
And boy, do I feel that pain. As a 17 year old, I followed my dream of being a healer and went to massage school. I was very skilled, but finding consistent clients was a struggle. After 8 years into my ‘career,’ I finally quit - convinced that my massage school lied about everything and that nobody could really make a living as a massage therapist.
Not to mention I was completely heartbroken. Massage was IT for me, and I felt like I had totally failed.
